Renee Jackson, P.E.

Ms. Jackson has thirty (30) years of experience in the field of engineering, specifically in program management, design, and construction projects. She has served as project manager for over forty (40) capital projects, from design to project closeout, for the City of Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Jackson has helped develop Public Works’ of Nashville’s current technical specifications and technical details. She assisted in developing the Nashville (Davidson County) Strategic Plan for Sidewalks and Bikeways and served as Sidewalk Program Manager. During her three-year tenure as Sidewalk Program Manager, she was involved in implementing the repair and replacement of and/or construction of over 220 sidewalk projects and over 4,203 curb ramps throughout the county at a cost of approximately $40 million. The projects were carried out in accordance with Nashville’s Strategic Plan and in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Ms. Jackson also served 10 years as Bridge Project Manager for the Metro Nashville Bridge Maintenance and Management Program, a joint venture between Metro Nashville and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), which resulted in the repair, maintenance, rehabilitation, or replacement of over 379 bridges owned by Metro Nashville of Davidson County, Tennessee. Ms. Jackson now serves as Engineer of record for our Louisiana branch office.
